Matta (Pashto: مټه) is a town in Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. It is located about 20 km (12 mi) from the central city of Mingora.

[edit]The population of town in 2017 was 42,547 but according to the 2023 Census of Pakistan, the population has risen to 51,821.[1]
